SUBJECT: ALTAR SERVER & CRUCIFER OPEN EVENT

There is going to be an open event on Saturday 5th September 2009 in st.peter and st. paul's church mansfield.
This will be open to anybody aged between 10 years of age and 80 years of age.
It will be between 10.00 and 12.00 and feel free to come and go.
If you feel that god is calling you to be an altar server of even a crucifer or you may just feel that you would like to try something new feel free to come along and have a chat.

This event will take place at:
St. Peter & St. Paul's Parish Church,
Church Street,
Mansfield,
Nottinghamshire,
NG18 1AP

On the day we will be showing you the following:

· How to serve at the altar
· What you will be wearing as an Altar Server or as a Crucifer
· Taking ideas on what we should do to socialise
· I and Emma will be answering some of your questions
· You will get the chance to try a mock eucharistic service, so you can see and so you can try out what you will be doing in the service
· You will get a chance to try on a cassock
