I hope everyone has finally thawed out after Sunday on the bandstand. Cry Harry and St George and all that. Good ole English weather, thank goodness for glabal warming otherwise we'd have completely frozen ! Otherwise it was a good day and the band played well I thought.

Don't know what the problem was - I was nice and warm. Mind you, I'm always warm, waving my arms about! Well done to everyone for our first outing of the year and thanks to our guest players, too. Good performance, the first of many, I hope

From one extreme to the other! Freezing cold at the Castle, then sweltering hot at the Acorn Theatre! No only that, but unloading all the instruments & percussion in a torrential downpour I couldn't help but think the weather was against us yet again. Never mind, at least it was dry inside the theatre - and warm too!

A big thanks to everyone, including the guest players - I thought we played well and we received lots of compliments from audience members. Fantastic job, looking forward to the next...!
