Band Socialising Ideas

I think we should do things like: --

Going out for meals.

Country parks.

any more ideasd and comments.

Top idea Danny. Think it'd be a bit like rehearsals though i.e not being able to please all the people all the time as it were. I do think we should give it a go though. MOTTO; A band that plays together . . . .err plays together?
Not all that catchy but you get me drift!

Ok...a good idea Danny, let's not get too organised on our first "do" tho; how about choosing a venue for an early--ish evening meal that could seat all that wanted to go, and just turn up anyone that wants to i.e. one of these pub type places that does 2 for 1...it 's a start and then we can get more choosey as we go along.....a picnic with a few games (for the younger ones phew... the thought)in Rufford Park, spot on Danny...suggestion...one Wednesday for the meal? lets do it.

I would prefer a picnic type idea, somewhere such as Rufford or Clumber or even book the field at Lady Margaret Hall. We used to have rounders (not compulsory!) evenings there on warm evenings or a Saturday afternoon with hilarious consequences. Then a BBQ/picnic. A good fun evening which everyone in the band would enjoy. Terry

Let us set a date for a B-B-Q and games session...how about a Saturday after B band, I think a date that fits in round band jobs will be good, I know some may not be able to make it but we must get on and do it........work a date out Danny and lets put it to the band next Monday.

Ok Members,
I have taken on what you have all said and I will try to arrange something that will please the most members.
But of course I will not be able to please all members but I can try my best.
I will start putting some ideas together and i will get back to you.
